I am here to help! There are several things we look at when determining whether a customer and their home are right for solar.
- How much sun does the roof get? The roof needs to have sunlight a certain percentage of the day to make it worthwhile to get solar.
- What is the orientation (N-S-E-W) of the roof?
- What is the pitch (steepness) of the roof?
- How much electricity is the homeowner currently using? Any changes coming up, such as people moving in or out, buying an electric car, or installing a hot tub?
- Do you own the home or rent? Do you plan to move within a few years, or stay longer?
- What state and local incentives are available in your area?
These are some the the questions we start off with, to help us determine with solar is a good option for you!
Once we know that solar would be a good plan, we make a second appointment to go over a proposed design for your property. We would tell you about all of the financing options so you can make the best decision for your budget and lifestyle.
